How would you describe this girl im confused about her?

She has had sex with around 5-6 guys in the past 3 months. I was thinking she is just a skank and nothing about her is worth being with. I read some of her poems we did in class and they were very deep and about falling in love. Is she confused about love or somthing in that direction. It;s hard opening up to her about how I feel when I am always hearing rumors about her. How would you describe her and how could i open up to her. In high-school.
