Coworker in Limbo. And the Female Libido. What to do, what to do?

So, I am a bartender. I work with one specific bartender who is overwhelmingly attractive. We get along phenomenally. Our chemistry is palpable, and other people tease us about it all the time. But nothing ever happened between us. Until the other night. Now keep in mind, this kid is a bartender in a night club. Women throw themselves at him fairly often. I think I am a pretty good looking woman, but not comparable to some that he has been with (as far as I imagine). We were hanging out after work, and the tension just got too high, and I kissed him. We made out for a little while, and he stopped me. He said that he was overthinking things, about the fact that we work together and whatnot. He admitted that he is very attracted to me and that he had wanted this to happen. But he said his brain was getting the better of him and it was giving him performance anxiety. He said something along the lines of "if you were just some skank from the bar, this wouldnt be an issue. But its hard for me, because we have been friends and we do get along so well." He kept saying that he was very attracted to me, but soon after he went home. Now I have to go to work and face him. I don't know what is going on or where we stand. He knows that I am not looking for a relationship, but that doesn't mean I want to totally ignore the outrageous chemistry between us every time I see him. What the heck should I do?
