My son hates my girlfriend, now what?
Are you serious!? NO you should not break up with your girlfriend! You should be *incredibly* thankful she is willing to stick by your side when some random kid (to her, anyhow) comes into the picture, interrupting what the two of you had made for eachother before your son came into your lives. Your son is a teenager - all teenagers have issues. This one happens to have a total disregard for women. Your job is to set a good example: show him how to honor, love, and protect a woman (YOUR WOMAN!) from this turmoil. Set clear boundaries. Don't allow your son to disrespectful. Always talk about her good points. Kids learn by example. If you break up with your girlfriend, you will be losing an opportunity to teach your son about respecting women, and thanking God you are so lucky your girlfriend is actually in your life. Don't take her for granted and throw her away. She deserves SO MUCH BETTER than that. And get some counseling for the three of you - this is too complicated of a situation for you all to try to handle it yourselves.
